I recently became a member of a collaborative blog with some of Portland Oregon’s finest wedding photographers. Our goal was to offer a resource to discerning brides and grooms so they could go to one site and discover a variety of photographers with different styles, but a common level of professionalism, quality, customer service and determination in advancing their craft of photography. Each member is approved by the group and is recognized as a professional whose reputation and integrity is outstanding and whose work the group can recommend with great confidence. www.myportlandphotographer.com
Well I am a little late in posting this news, but ISPWP-International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers have international print competitions and for the winter of 2008 I placed 3rd overall which was quite exciting. The below images all placed in various categories with a couple of images placing first in their group. Please if you get a chance check out the site as they are a fantastic organization dedicated to offering only the best of the best. All photographers listed with ISPWP must must operate under a code of conduct which you can see here.
Check out some of my favorite images in this slideshow of Samantha Rea and Dennis Perala’s wedding. Both the wedding and reception took place at The Treasury Ballroom with wonderful catering by Vibrant Table and the exquisite planning and design of Soiree. I also had the pleasure of sharing the company of one of my friends and a great videographer, Greg James of Solstice Video.
Wow! I was at The Viewpoint Inn for the big snow storm and as you can see there was frost on the inside windows and snow coming inside through any available crack or crevice. I wasn’t sure if I was going home that night or looking for lodging, but I made it. The first photo is inside the Inn and I was able to carve their wedding date out in the ice that had accumulated. Please enjoy these photos of Courtney Bowman and Scott Tomlinson’s wedding.
These are some of my favorite images from Carrie Reschke and Craig Rowley’s wedding. The ceremony and reception were in Salem Oregon at Zenith Vineyards and very cool location.
My youngest son Jack turned two on 2.22.09 and I thought I would share a couple photos. One with the cake of course and the other with his older brother Dylan whom I got pirate swords for that day and they were showing them off.
