The National average of the “cost” of wedding photography

The national average spent on wedding photography is $2500. So if you want average it should be at least that price and if you want exceptional plan to spend more. The old adage you get what you pay for is the same here. I just met with a bride and her sister and her sister said when she got married she got everything and the kitchen sink from her photographer at a steal and hated the images. She said now she doesn’t care that it was such a great deal as she crys with tears of sorrow every time she looks at her wedding images. Everything will pass from your wedding day and the only thing besides your memories to keep the day alive is the photography. The memories can take your breath away with joy or horror-decide wisely.

That is such a true statement. I have been married for 30 years and still look at my wedding pictures. I spent a lot of money and every cent was worth it.

I stumbled across your site and fell in love with your work. Your pictures are beautiful!

I may be getting married in Oregon this summer, and I was curious if there is a minimum amount of time that goes along with this deal? We aren’t planning a large wedding so we wouldn’t need a photographer for a full day.
